Materials

All students will need a notebook for this class. It is very important to write examples and practice problems down as you go!

You can use the free calculator at desmos.com/scientific or if you prefer to use a handheld calculator, please make sure it has graphing capabilities. The graphing calculator at desmos.com is what I will be using in lessons. It is also what you will have available to use for state testing at the end of the year.
Grading

Participation Grades

-
This is used for extra credit

Sample Work

Sample work is completed in Formative. All of the questions are from examples in your lessons and you should get a 100% every time. This is treated like a study guide for your unit test for my class and I encourage students .

Quick Checks

You can use your notes on the quick checks.

I do not allow resets but you can make corrections and send it to me showing all of your work or you can meet with me to work on corrections together. They are not worth a significant amount of your grade and are better used to help you study for a test to make sure you get the grade you want on assignments that carry more weight in your gradebook.

Tests
Blank paper, pen or pencil, a calculator, and your notes are allowed on all assessments!

All tests will be taken on Formative. You may use your notes and a calculator..
If you are unhappy with your score - please make corrections!

Honor Code

Make sure you are adhering to the Honor Code. You need to do your own work with just a paper, pencil/pen, your notes, and a calculator. You may call or webmail me for clarification at any time.
